VIRDEN – Lila Grace McCormick, 88, of Virden, formerly of Springfield, died Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at Memorial Medical Center.

She was born August 1, 1918 in Virden, IL, the daughter of James and Ethel Gray Myers. She married Howard McCormick; he preceded her in death. One son also preceded her in death.

Mrs. McCormick was a homemaker. She was a member of Harvard Park Baptist Church.

Survivors: two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Arthritis Association.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 10, 2007 at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Dr. John Charlton officiating. Burial: Camp Butler National Cemetery. Staab Funeral Home of Service.
