LaDean Buecker

February 14, 1925 - February 26, 2014

LaDean Buecker, 89, of Springfield, died at 12:35 pm, Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at St. John’s Hospice. She was born February 14, 1925 in Springfield, to William and Julia Davis Spence. She married Norman Buecker on February 10, 1951 and he survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Nancy Beth Buecker of Springfield; son, Bradley Joe (Nancy Pistorius) Buecker of Lawrence, KS; granddaughter, Alyssa Ashley Buecker and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Paul Davis Spence in 1977.

LaDean was a graduate of Memorial School of Nursing. She worked as a Nurse Assistant Supervisor and following her marriage she was a homemaker.
She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.

Visitation: 11:30 am – 1:30 pm, Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Staab Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: 1:30 pm, Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Staab Funeral Home with Dr. Joe Eby officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Scottish Rite Valley of Springfield ASSR; Grand Lodge of Illinois AF&AM or to a charity of the Donor’s choice.
