SHERMAN. Kris Danner, 53, of Sherman, died Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at Memorial Medical Center.
She was born May 10, 1954 in Knoxville, TN, the daughter of John and MaryAnn Nelson Hagaman. She married Dennis Danner on August 4, 1984. Her father preceded her in death.
Mrs. Danner worked at St. John’s Hospital and retired from Memorial Medical Center after 20 years as a unit clerk. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Sherman, Kidney Foundation, Lions Eye Bank, and Gift of Hope. She was a 30-year transplant survivor, receiving a kidney on June 2, 1977. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
Survivors: husband, Dennis E. Danner of Sherman; parents, John and MaryAnn Hagaman of Sherman; one stepdaughter, Katie Danner of Evansville, IN; one stepson, William (wife, LeAnna) Danner of Tell City, IN; four step-grandchildren; one sister, LuAnn (husband, Tom) Meyer of Sherman; two brothers, Scott (wife, Kathy) Timm and Jay (wife, Robin) Timm, both of Sherman; four stepsisters, Linda (husband, Gary) Shudrowitz of Springfield, Jackie Blissett of Springfield, Denise (husband, Roger) Burton of Springfield, and Tammy Anderson of Springfield; one stepbrother, John Hagaman of Sherman; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Gift of Hope.
