Karen Sue Sullivan
Karen Sue Sullivan, 62, of Springfield, died at 10:15 am, Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Memorial Medical. She was born September 12, 1950 in Springfield, to Donald and Loretta G. Spaulding Hollett. She married Dennis James Sullivan on October 3, 1970 and he preceded her in death on December 7, 2001.
Her mother also preceded her in death.
Survivors include three daughters, Christy (Companion: Kevin Diveley) Schattschneider of Springfield, Maretta (Mike) Chiles of
Rochester and Regina (Richard) Johnson of Strafford, MO; her father, Donald Hollett; two sisters, her twin, Sharon (Pat) Wimmer of Yuma, AZ and Marla (Ray) Loyd of Springfield, three brothers, Donald K. Hollett, Jr. of Hillsdale, IL, Riley (Rosemary) Hollett of Sherman and Craig (Sally) Hollett of California; ten Grandchildren; one great Grandson; best friend, Ruth (Kelly) Fitzsimmons and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Karen was a resident of Springfield most of her life. She resided in Tawas City, MI for eight years. She was a member of DAVAA. She retired from Endres Tavern.
Visitation: 4-7 pm, Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Staab Funeral Home.
Funeral Mass: 10 am, Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Church of the Little Flower with Monsignor John Ossola officiating. Burial will be at Camp Butler National Cemetery at a later date.
