SPRINGFIELD – Julius V. Machino, 95, of Springfield, died Sunday, June 3, 2007 at his residence.
He was born November 24, 1911 in Coal City, IL, the son of John and Maria Castagno Machino. He married Dorothy Shehan in 1946; she preceded him in death on February 24, 1988. His parents; four brothers; and one sister also preceded him in death.
Mr. Machino owned and operated Machino’s Lounge in Springfield for over 50 years. He was a member of Church of Christ the King. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1941-1945. He was a member of VFW Post #755, American Legion Post #32, Italian American War Veterans Post #15, Illinois Liquor & Beverage Association (ILBA), Roman Cultural Society, and Elks Lodge #158.
Survivors: two nieces; one great-nephew; one great-great-niece.

Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday, June 7, 2007. Services: 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 8, 2007, Monsignor David Lantz officiating. Burial: Virden Cemetery, where military honors will be conducted. Staab Funeral Home of Service.

Use at least 3 brwosers. When you reach the max on one, go to the other brwoser, use that max and go to the third. By then you can start over with the first one. Google does not send info that it can track you as far as I know. Its a ripoff. I pay $60 a month for internet access and I'll be damned if I will pay a newspaper for reading their column. Watch the TV stations news online and sooner or later you will see the same thing for free.Their printed rags are doing so poorly they can't stay in business, thanks to their ability to not gather news.
