Judith R. Pehlman

Judith R. Pehlman, 69, of Springfield, died at 8:43 am on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at her home. She was born March 5, 1944 in Aurora, IL to Raymond and Dorothy Rowe Armstrong. She married Bob Weggner and he preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by four daughters: Debbie Gilbert of Springfield, Diana (Scott) Wilkin of Monticello, Dena (John) Simpson of Fishers, IN and Hilary Pehlman of Springfield; one son: David (Christina) Pehlman of Indianapolis, IN; one brother: Ralph Bailey of Phoenix, AZ and nine grandchildren.

Judith was a member of Southside Christian Church. She loved working in her flower garden and being in her yard.

The family is hosting a gathering from 10-11 am on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Southside Christian Church with a memorial service at 11:00 a.m with Pastor Brooks Wilson officiating.

So sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. Grew up in Green Acres and my sister and I used to babysit all of you. She was a good friend of my mothers and remember all of us piling into the old rambler to go into town for lunch quite often. Brings back lots of memories of the old neighborhood. Again sorry for your loss she was a funny lady.
