Joseph Paul Bleakley

Reverend Dr Joseph Paul Bleakley, 66, of Springfield, died at 5:10 pm, Sunday, September 16, 2012 at Memorial Medical Center. He was born November 23, 1945 in Clinton, Iowa, to Paul and Betty Bleakley. He married Judith Hlatky on June 6, 1992 and she survives.
Also surviving are three children, Kristen, John and Brian, seven grandchildren and one sister, Barbara Bleakley.
Reverend Bleakley was a retired ELCA Lutheran Pastor. He was an avid reader and enjoyed wood working and model trains.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
