Joe was a great guy! I lived across the street from him for the short time he lived with his care taker, i remember going to their house for dinner and listening to him tell stories about when he was younger working at the mill, and about his mother, he seemed to miss her alot. I loved to listen to him talk, and he sure did love to talk! I remember most the story of him telling me about the new High School being built and he didnt have to travel as far anymore to go to school, he though it was really neat to be the first class in the school! He will be Greatly missed. Although i have not seen nor talked to him recently his memory will definitely stay with me forever. my sympathy is with the Lapicola family during this hard time.
