Joe R. DeBrun
Joe R. DeBrun, 54, of Springfield, died at 7:10 pm, Tuesday, March 19, 2013. He was born August 7, 1958 in Pana, Illinois to Irvin Parrish and Betty Jo Challens DeBrun. He married Cathy S. Wells on September 10, 1983 and she survives.
Also surviving are one daughter Taryn Jo (Companion: Adam Hernandez) DeBrun of Sahuarita, AZ; mother, Jo DeBrun-Parrish of Decatur, IL; one sister, Renee Borell-Parrish of Denver, CO; one brother Dan (Sandy) Parrish of Auburn; sister-in-law, Christy Keller of Riverton; mother-in-law, Carol Wells of Riverton and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Irvin Parrish; one brother, William “Bill” DeBrun; father-in-law, Harvey Wells and sister-in-law Cindy McMasters.
His daughter, Taryn, was the joy of his life. He also enjoyed spending time with his “best buddy” and canine, Fagan. Joe was an avid NASCAR fan. He enjoyed watching football; spending time in his “man cave”; being outdoors and helping others. He was a semi driver for Beelman Trucking and had formerly worked in excavating with his father-in-law, Harvey.
Memorial Gathering: 4-7 pm, Friday, March 22, 2013 at Staab Funeral Home.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Family of Joe DeBrun.

Cathy and Taryn, our heart goes out to you both, we loved Joe, and all his work he did for us, building of our home, pool, or just talking, fun times. He will be missed, most of all that smile of his, and always a hug. Prayers are with you both duing this very dificult time.
