Jean S. Penick
Jean S. Penick, 91, of Springfield, went Home to live with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at 3:30 pm, Tuesday, November 3, 2015. She was born November 21, 1923 in Mexico, MO, to Clayton Wiedler and Elva Kircher Snook. She married Monroe Penick on August 5, 1950 and he preceded her in death on May 4, 2008.
She is survived by her son, Mark Andrew Penick of San Antonio, TX; brother, Marion A. (Essilee) Kircher Snook of Mexico, MO; one aunt, one niece and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister, Betty Claire Snook-Crowley.
Jean was a member of Trinity Lutheran church where she was an avid volunteer worker.
Visitation: 4 – 6 p.m., Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church.
Funeral Service: 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Reverend Aaron Schnelle officiating.
Graveside Service: 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Elmwood Cemetery in Mexico, MO.
