James L. Dambacher
James L. Dambacher, 71, of Riverton, died at 1:49 am, Friday, January 18, 2013 at Memorial Medical Center. He was born June 22, 1941 in Buffalo, to James J. and Erma Jacqueline Stanton Dambacher. He married Judith “Judi” G. Barni on August 6, 1958 and she survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Lisa Piatt of Williamsville and Christie (Bruce) Liebe of Sherman; one son, James D. Dambacher of Riverton: three grandchildren, Becky (Michael) Hellrich, Clinton (Tonya) Piatt and Tiffany Liebe; one great grandchild is on the way; three sisters Rhonda L. (Dave) Urrutia of Cornland, Mona L. (Michael) Urban and Lucinda L. (Tom) McArty both of Buffalo; three brothers, Gary L. (Linda) Dambacher, Jack L. (Pam) Dambacher and Larry L. Dambacher all of Buffalo and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
James was a member of Body of Christ Church in Buffalo. He farmed with his family most of his life in the Buffalo area. He loved hunting, shooting and enjoyed his time serving as a volunteer Police Officer for Buffalo.
Private family services will be held.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association.
