Jacqueline "Jackie" Mickle

Jacqueline “Jackie” Mickle of Springfield, passed away October 18, 2012 at St. John’s Hospice. Mrs. Mickle was born to Victor and Zella Glidewell on November 23, 1928. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Deane Mickle.
Jackie worked for the Secretary of State and was a long time employee of the States Attorney’s office in Sangamon County.
She leaves behind four children, Judy Kramzar (Fiancé: Mark Gardner), Vicki (husband-Michael) Bearup, Andrea Kirchner and Allen (wife-Jeannie) Nagle; a brother, Victor Glidewell of Edgewater, FL; ten grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; three step children with her husband, Deane Mickle, Jeff Mickle, Dan (wife Brenda) Mickle and Deann Mickle-Greer and one nephew.
Jackie enjoyed traveling; reading and spending time with her family. One of her true loves was her little dog, Maggie.
During her life she was very active with her husband, Deane in the Shriner Organization. She was also active in the Republican Party Organization.
Visitation: 4-6 pm, Sunday, October 21, 2012 at Staab Funeral Home
Funeral Service: 10 am, Monday, October 22, 2012 at Staab Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Harmon officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery.
