Isabel M. Creswell

Isabel M. Creswell, 91, of Springfield, died at 5:55 am, Monday, May 30, 2011 at Oak Terrace HealthCare Center. She was born on November 20, 1919 to Robert S. and Rose Custer Irvine. She married Alfred W. Creswell in 1954.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one brother, Robert L. Irvine. She is survived by two daughters, Linda R. Gebhardt of Springfield and Barbara A. DeNight of Normal, one grandson, Jefferey R. (Melissa) Gebhardt of Plainfield, one sister Delores (Robert) Huels of Chicago, several nieces and nephews.
Isabel was a member of St. John’s Samaritans and AARP. She was a Secretary for National Electrical Contractors Association and was a resident of Springfield since 1958.
Memorial Gathering: 10-11 am, Saturday, June 4, 2011 at Staab Funeral Home.
Memorial Service: 11 am, Saturday, June 4, 2011 at Staab Funeral Home with Chaplain John Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of Illinois or American Diabetes Association.
