Iness E. Fathauer

June 30, 1918 - October 13, 2011

Iness E. Fathauer, 93, of Springfield, died at 11:35 am, Thursday, October 13, 2011 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born June 30, 1918 in Moweaqua, IL to Hiram and Maggie Gorden Bilyeu. She married Herbert H. Fathauer on August 15, 1936 and he preceded her in death in 1973.
Survivors include three children, Ronald Dixon (Antoinette) Fathauer of Jensen Beach, FL, Sharon (Robert) Volk of Bloomington, IL and Kathy (Jim) Flemming of Springfield; eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Iness was of the Lutheran Faith. She was a member of Women’s Bowling League and was an avid bowler up to her 90th birthday.
She had worked as a clerk for Allis Chalmers.
Visitation: 9:30 – 11:00 am, Monday, October 17, 2011 at Staab Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 11 am, Monday, October 17, 2011 at Staab Funeral Home with Vaughn Beeman officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
