Helene J. Good, 80, of Springfield, died at 8:32 am, Monday, November 17, 2014 at Oak Terrace.  She was born October 17, 1934 in Phelps, WI, to Norman and Helene Madsen Nelson.

Surviving are her husband, Charles P. Good, with whom she shared sixty years of marriage; one daughter, Kristine R. (Jeffery) White of Delafield, WI; two sons, James (Carol) Good of Riverton and Robert P. (Jill) Good of Springfield; one brother, Norman (Marilyn) Nelson of Superior, WI; eight grandchildren; one step great grandchild; five nieces and seven nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Dorothea Irmen and two brothers, James and Olen Nelson.

Helene was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church; American Legion Auxiliary Post 32 and Partners – Telephone Pioneers of America.

Memorial Gathering:  9-11 am, Friday, November 21, 2014 at St. John’s Lutheran Church.

Memorial Service:   11 am, Friday, November 21, 2014 at St. John’s Lutheran Church with Pastor Greg Busboom and Pastor Ladd Sonnenberg officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
