Helen R. Wilcox
Helen R. Wilcox, 103, of New Berlin, IL died at home on Friday, March 8, 2013. She was born September 1, 1909 in New Berlin, IL to Otis and Kathryn Wilcox King. She married Albert Wilcox on April 1972 and he preceded her in death in 1997. She is also preceded in death by two brothers; one sister and a son-in-law.
She is survived by three daughters, Rosalie Carpentier of Petersburg, IL; Janet (Paul) Brehm of New Berlin, IL; Ruth Ann (Terry) Bilyeu of Springfield; eight grandchildren, Allen (Beth) Brehm; Kevin Brehm; Greg Carpentier; Brad (Janice) Carpentier; Michelle (Jeff) Lazarz; Bryce (Melinda) Bilyeu; Ryan (companion Sarah Conlon) Bilyeu; Bethany Bilyeu; 11 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; step son Dale (Ermadean) Wilcox of Waverly, IL.; a niece and several nephews.
Helen was born and raised in New Berlin and was a school teacher in New Berlin. She enjoyed reading, knitting and word search games.
Memorial Gathering: 10 – 11 a.m., Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Central Baptist Church in New Berlin.
Memorial Service: 11 a.m., Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Central Baptist Church in New Berlin with Dr. Dan Holland officiating. Private burial will be in Woodwreath Cemetery.

Ruth Ann and family, We are sorry you lost your beloved Helen. Also sorry that we could not make the service. She was the favorite teacher of son, Greg Irwin. He liked her a lot. You remain in our thoughts and prayers. Dave and Maebeth Nicholson
