Gustave “Gus” J. Morris, Jr., 60, of Springfield, died at 5:50 pm, Sunday, November 15, 2015 at St. John’s Hospital. He was born June 18, 1955 in Springfield, to Gustave J. and Clara Picchi Morris, Sr.

He is survived by one sister, Rose Marie Morris and several aunts and cousins.
His parents preceded him in death.

Gus was a member of St. Joseph’s Church. He served as Vice President of the Pillsbury Mills Neighborhood Association. He loved bike riding and walking and attending downtown events. He worked as a Handyman.

Memorial Gathering: 9-10:45 am, Friday, November 20, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Church.

Memorial Service: 11 am, Friday, November 20, 2015, at St. Joseph’s Church with Reverend Steven Janoski officiating.

Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
