George P. Nadasdy
SPRINGFIELD. George P. (Sam) Nadasdy, 88, died on Sunday, November 13, 2016, He was born in Springfield, ILL the son of George and Barbara Nadasdy.
Surviving is a sister, Dorothy Nadasdy; niece, Kathleen L. Murphy; nephews, David L. Wysocki, Bloomington; and Timothy VonBehren, Stockton, Calif; great nephew, Michael (Carrie) Wysocki; and several great nieces.
Sisters Mary Fran Nadasdy, Anne VonBehren, and Barbara Wysocki preceded him in death.
George served in the U.S. Army following his graduation from Cathedral Boys High School (1945).
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 364. He retired from the Chicago & Illinois Midland (C&IM) Railroad following a 50-year career.

choice.
Cremation services were administrated by Staab Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held in the spring.
