George was a very special dad. As a friend of Donna's, I remember growing up thinking that he was always interested in what we were doing. He was a dad you liked to spend time with. He seemed to love life and to be having a good time. I will miss George.
Hey brother, I will miss you but know that you are in a better place and will remember the good times together. I will always remember the time you came home for a visit, and I saw you hugging mom in your White Navy Uniform, and I thought who is that. I was young and you were my brother, but I didn't realize it at the time. You were a great big brother, and I have many great memories, thanks to you and Mary Fran!

George was an amazing man and I am so happy I got to meet him. I had the privilege of taking care of him at Concordia. He always had a smile on his face and never asked for anything. Even when he was in so much pain and required more care he hesitated to ask for help. I will miss you buddy. I hope there's sailing in heaven!
