Gary Allen Stouffe

September 9, 1957 - November 4, 2017

This is Gary Stouffe’s obituary. It isn’t fun to write, but it is what is expected to be written so the world knows you died and all the people in your gene pool.

Gary Allen Stouffe was 60 when cancer got the better of him on November 4, 2017. He was born September 9, 1957 to Charles and Barbara Gail Stouffe. He lived in Palmyra with his wife of 43 years, Cindy and their two mongrels Willie and Pepper.

Gary was a dad to Susie Gregory and Sarah (EJ) Paintiff and a Poppop to Layne Gregory and Shayla Paintiff. He was brother to Robyn (Dean) Holliday, Connie (Drew) Schroeder, Cathy (Mike) Bartelt and Larry Stouffe (Deceased). He had numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Gary was an outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He enjoyed driving us crazy with Hogan’s Heroes reruns. He was strong in his faith, salty with his tongue and devoted beyond measure. He will forever be remembered and missed.

The family will host a Celebration of life from 10-11 am, Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Grace Baptist Church in Palmyra. A small prayer service officiated by Jim Allen will be held directly following.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
