Frank Madden 84 of Glenarm died at 12:22 am, Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at his home. He was born May 29, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois to Francis Ambrose and Lillian M. LeMieux Madden.
Frank lived in Elgin most of his life and retired after 38 years as a millwright with Illinois Tool Works. He was of the Catholic faith; a past commander of American Legion Post #57 in Elgin, IL; member of the VFW and the Catholic War Veterans.
Survivors include 5 daughters: Sharon Rose of Santa Barbara, Mary Devlin of Buda, TX, Kathy Madden Boyer of Camden, AR, Laurie Madden of Glenarm, IL and Karen Armstrong of Menlo Park, CA; 3 sons Frank Madden of Huffman, TX, Robert Madden of Austin, TX and Joseph Madden of Chicago, IL; 14 grandchildren Brian, Tina, Kerri, Jeanne, Paul, Sarah, Dan, Julia, Charles, Corey, Frank, Kelly, John and Brandi; 7 great grandchildren; 1 brother Phillip ( and wife, Evie) Madden of Elgin and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Jeanne and several brothers and sisters.
Private family services will be held.
