Frank C. Langley
Frank C. Langley, 71, of Rochester, died at 6:54 pm, Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at his home. He was born August 13, 1947 in Springfield, to Gordon R. and Nellie T. (Price) Langley. He married Mary “Sue” Triplett on June 14, 1969 and she preceded him in death.
Survivors include one son, Jason (Jennifer) Langley of Rochester; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers, Raymond (Janet) Langley and Everett (Anna) Langley both of Springfield and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and one son, Jeremy.
Frank was a former member of Wesley United Methodist Church. He liked to restore cars and enjoyed racing and tinkering in the garage. He was a US Army veteran serving in the Vietnam War.
He worked as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for the State of Illinois in the Natural Resources Department.
Visitation: 3-6 pm, Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.
Funeral Service: 10:30 am, Monday, February 25, 2019 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield, with April Patek officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery where military honors will be conducted.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

There are many memories.. from the side dives into the pool..to the what you in the garage working on cars..to trip up to Michigan and the first time you met my daughter Abby and you guys stay on the couch and share a bag of Cheetos. And getting to the big soft side that we all got to share..
