Elizabeth M. Fanale
Elizabeth M. Fanale, 94, of Riverton, IL died at 3:45 p.m. Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Oak Terrace. She was born on March 4, 1918 in Spaulding, IL to Harry and Elsie Hewett White. She married John J. Fanale on April 16, 1939 and he preceded her in death on October 31, 2001. She is also preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth White; one sister, Edith Burlbaw and one niece, Jean White.
Surviving are one son, John (Roberta) Fanale of Williamsville; two grandchildren, Brad (Benita) Fanale of Lincoln, and Jeff (Jody) Fanale of Zion; two great-grandchildren, Sierra and Isabella and several cousins.
Elizabeth was a member of St. James Church in Riverton where she was formerly active in the Altar and Rosary Society. She was a 50 year member of the Sangamon County Home Extension, enjoyed working with ceramics, crafting, and reading. Elizabeth was a homemaker.
Visitation: 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Staab Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Staab Funeral Home with Msgr. David Lantz officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, St. James Church or the Riverton Knights of Columbus.

She was a beautiful, special lady and lucky to have such a special son and daughter-in-law to provide so much love and care for her in your home for many of her final years!!
