SPRINGFIELD – Edna A. Tomlinson, 88, of Springfield, died Saturday, June 9, 2007 at Memorial Medical Center.
She was born September 20, 1918 in Quincy, IL, the daughter of Rudy and Ann Meyer. She married Walter “Pete” Tomlinson in Milwaukee, WI on September 2, 1944; he preceded her in death on June 9, 1982. Her parents; one brother, Harold Meyer; and one sister, Bernice Wallock, also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Tomlinson worked for Springfield School District 186, retiring as an administrator. She was a member of Woodside United Methodist Church, where she belonged to several groups. She enjoyed sewing, crafts and walking.
Survivors: two daughters, Suzanne M. (husband, Steven) Hackley of Columbia, MO and Patricia A. (husband, Merle) Butler of Red Bud; two grandchildren, Michael D. (wife, Molly) Butler and Michelle A. (husband, Stephen) Ott; two great-grandchildren, Joshua W. Butler and Skylar A. Butler; two sisters, Irene Friske and Marge Kraeblen, both of Milwaukee, WI; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or Woodside United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be held 9:00-11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 12, 2007. Services: 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 12, 2007, Reverend Jim Poole officiating. Burial: Oak Ridge Cemetery. Staab Funeral Home of Service.

Blaine! I want to thank you for posting this! As you satted this was more a marketing thing but I just receievd the same email (to the tee except mine was just A WONDERFUL SURPRISE TO HIM ) and this scammer was smart because your post mocked mine but only in the last email I received it actually started as if someone was truely interested and then I got the same line of emails as if it were real but I received the same chain of emails from Paypal just as you described that were in my junk folder and it looked so real from paypal but as soon as I read your post I knew it was a scam right away so I wanted to thank you for saving me some heart-ache!
