Douglas "Adam" Bursott
Douglas “Adam” Bursott, 33, of Chatham, died Friday, November 9, 2018 at his home. He was born in Olney, IL on December 3, 1984 to Douglas Eugene Bursott and Eva Richardson. He married Michelle Weyforth on September 17, 2015 and she survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, River Bursott; parents, Eva Maroon (Rick Toumbs) of Chatham, IL and Doug Bursott of Noble, IL; two sisters, Alyssa (Jim) Patton of Springfield, IL and Alysson Bursott of Catlin, IL; one brother, Alex (Hannah) Bursott of Lafayette, IN; nephew and niece, Calvin and Miriel Patton; his dog, Dixie, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Adam was a resident of Chatham for 25 years. He worked for TMF Construction and was previously self-employed as a carpenter.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, collecting coins, playing his guitar, and was a member of Carpenter’s Union #270.
The Staab Family will be hosting a Celebration of Adam’s life from 4-7 pm, Thursday, November 15, 2018 at the TRN Lake Club. Private graveside services will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his daughter, River Bursott for her future education.
