Dorothy L. Brown Grater

SPRINGFIELD, IL – Dottie L. Grater, 69, went home to be with the Lord at 10:40am at her home in the company of her children.

She was born June 12, 1941. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Grater, son, Kevin Letz, father Al, mother Florence, sister Mary, brother Eugene.

She is survived by her son Sydney H. Letz, III of Virginia, son Robert Bob & wife Cindy Letz of Riverton, daughter Carlinda (husband) Allan Yates of Springfield, daughter Angel Ledferd Goodman, Springfield, grandchildren Brittney Shull, Charles, Matthew, Olivea, Misti Holler of Springfield, Sara, Hannah, Hillary, Dakota, Brady Goodman of Springfield and nine great-grandchildren

Dottie worked many years in manufacturing company and worked waitressing part-time. Now safe in the arms of Our Lord.

Services are 2:00pm Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Elliott Avenue Baptist Church, 501 W. Elliott Ave.
