Donna Ann Volk, 58 of Springfield, died at 4:13 pm, Monday, April 29, 2013, at St. John’s Hospital. She was born March 17, 1955 in Springfield, the daughter of Donald Alden and Mary Jo Wolf Walker. She married William J. Volk on July 2, 1977 and he survives her.

Donna is also survived by her parents, Donald and Mary Jo Walker of Springfield; three children, Jason Alan Volk, Adam Joseph Volk, and Rachel Ann Volk, all of Springfield; two sisters, Nancy Walker, and Mary Lynn Bartolomucci, both of Springfield; two brothers, Ronald Walker of St. Louis, MO, and Donald (Bev) Walker of Springfield; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Donna was a 1973 graduate of South East High School. She was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Church, Twins Club of Springfield, and a devoted mother and loved being a soccer mom. She was an avid Cubs fan. Donna was employed at Bank of Springfield for thirty five plus years where she was the Vice President of loan services.

Visitation: 4-7pm, Thursday, May 2, 2013, at Staab Funeral Home with a prayer service at 4 pm.

Funeral Mass: 10:00 am, Friday, May 3, 2013 at, St. Frances Cabrini Church with Reverend Richard Chiola officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, or St. Frances Cabrini Church.
