Donald E. Ushman, 78, of Springfield, died at 8:12 pm, Monday, November 9, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center. He was born November 23, 1936 in Springfield, to John and Annabell Wood Ushman. He married Eleanore Lehmkuhl on April 27, 1957 and she survives.

Also surviving are three children, Peggy Sue Ushman of Charles Town, WV, Beverly Jo Anstice of Edgerton, WI and Donald Thomas Ushman of Madison, WI; six grandchildren; one sister, Norma Jean Renz of Cape Girardeau, MO; one brother, John T. Ushman, Jr. of Chandlerville and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two daughters, Barbara Ann Hermanson and Mary Ellen Mickelson.

Donald retired from the United States Air Force as Chief Master Sergeant after thirty-four years of service.

He loved working on his computer.

Graveside Service: 10 am, Friday, November 13, 2015 at Camp Butler National Cemetery with Reverend Darrell Debowey officiating. Military Honors will be conducted by the United States Air Force.
