Delores Elaine Hahn
Delores Elaine Hahn, 79, of Springfield, formerly of Toluca, Chicago and Peoria, IL, died at 8:54 a.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at her home. She was born March 2, 1936 in Leeds, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold A. Hahn, Sr. and Rosemary Wells Hahn.
Delores was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Toluca where she had been a Sunday school teacher. She was an avid reader and watcher of murder mysteries. She loved to crochet and was an outstanding seamstress. Delores was formerly employed as a secretary for LTV Steel in Hennepin, IL, Caterpillar, and retired from National City Bank.
Surviving are a daughter, Melissa Hahn Moseley of Springfield; three grandsons, Scott M. Moseley II, Matthew S. Moseley and Mitchell S. Moseley, all of Springfield and a brother, Harold (Shirley) Hahn, Jr. of Trivoli, IL.
Visitation: 2 – 5 p.m. Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Staab Funeral Home. There will be a second visitation from 10 – 11 a.m. Monday, November 2, 2015 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Toluca, IL.
Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Monday, November 2, 2015 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Toluca, IL with Reverend Ryan H. Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in LaRose, IL.
