I am very sorry to read of your loss. The Bible provides such comfort in times like this and in ways you may not expect! Note what Psalms 68:20 says: "To Jehovah the Sovereign Lord belong the ways out of death." Now that is interesting because 1)God can sustains in coping with this enemy called death. 2)Another way is hope that there will actually be a time when there will be no more death! Now that seems amazing but the bible actually teaches it! "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." - Rev. 21:4. I hope these promises for the future sustain and encourage you.
