David A Jenkins
David A. Jenkins, 51, of Auburn, died at 12:56 p.m., Sunday, January 30, 2011 at his residence. He was born July 8, 1959 in Springfield, Illinois to Ernest L. and Norma Jean Bollinger Jenkins. His father and one sister Susan Willis preceded him in death.
Survivors include his mother, Norma Jean Jenkins of Springfield; three sisters, Rhonda K. Jenkins and Deanne M. (David) Smith both of Springfield and Lori I. (Rick) Pennington of Sherman; one brother Brett D. (Christine) Jenkins of Springfield; his dog and best friend, Popcorn; one aunt, Camilla Bollinger of Springfield and several nieces, nephew and cousins.
David worked for 20 years for Simplex. He enjoyed working on small engines, construction, helping less fortunate dogs, landscaping and working in his yard. He was very proud of his roses.
Memorial Gathering: 4-6 p.m., Thursday, February 3, 2011 at Staab Funeral Home

I am sorry to hear of the ceath of your adult child. This is hard for the parents especially. The miracles of Jesus in the bible prove the resurrection hope. That was proof 1900 years ago of God's power in that the dead really can live again. Jesus miracles on a small scale show us what will take place on earth under the Kingdom of God. John 11:11-44.
