Clara E. Ciccone, 97, of Springfield, died at 9:36 am, Monday, May 30, 2016 at St. Joseph Home. She was born June 24, 1918 in Springfield, to Andrew and Christina Cicciarelli Ciccone.

Clara is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother William Ciccone and two sisters, Mary and Helen Ciccone.

Clara was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church where she was a member of the Alter Society and was a member of St. Joseph’s Home Coterie. She retired from the Illinois Department of Transportation after 25 years of service.

Visitation: 9:30 – 10:15 am, Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Blessed Sacrament Church.

Funeral Mass: 10:30 am, Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Blessed Sacrament Church with Reverend Jeff Grant officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph’s Home.
