LIBERTY, IL – Christina Ella Ice, 47, died at 11:38 am Sunday February 15, 2015 at home. She was born August 14, 1967 in Springfield to John and Betty Pilcher Baker. She married Darren Lee Ice on June 19, 1993. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Robert “Moe”, Thomas D. and Jefferey C. Baker.
She is survived by her husband, Darren; one son, Colt Jeffrey Ice; three sisters, Barb (Rick) Highland of Holts Summit, MO, Pamela (Victor) Herzberger of Union, KY and Mary (Donnie) Hodges of St. Petersburg, FL; one brother, John J. Baker of Springfield; sister-in-law, Karen Baker of Springfield; mother-in-law, Monica (Jerry) Grinkey of Texas; father-in-law, Thomas (Vickie) Ice of Illinois; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and several great nieces and nephews.
She was very devoted to her family, friends and work and was an associate of Lions International.
She worked for the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation Division of Banking as a Bank Examiner.
Memorial Gathering: 3 – 6 pm Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Staab Funeral Home.
