SPRINGFIELD – Charles “Charlie” E. Neisewander, 64, of Springfield, died Monday, June 4, 2007 at Memorial Medical Center.
He was born September 7, 1942 in Springfield, IL, the son of George and Ethel Bridge Neisewander. He married Linda Tedrow in 1971; she preceded him in death in 1996. His parents; one brother, George, Jr.; and one sister, Shirley, also preceded him in death.
Mr. Neisewander worked 23 years for Fiat Allis as an inspector. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a maintenance person in 2006. He was a member of UAW and American Postal Workers. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving from 1960 to 1963.
Survivors: one sister, Shari (husband, Quincy) Boggs of Edinburg.
Memorials may be made to VNA Hospice Care of Illinois.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Burial: Oak Ridge Cemetery. Staab Funeral Home of Service.

I remember him always making jokes. I was a little girl so i dont remember much, but one of the things i do remember that always made me laugh was he would act like he would pick his nose and pull it out and have no finger...he would always say he lost his finger because he picked his nose. Not a great memory but like i said i was young. I miss and Love you Uncle Charlie!
