Brenton Morland Coffey

When we were kids, my sister and I played downtown during the summers and would always go and sit with Mr. Coffey and his dog. He was always very nice to us and would give us gum, we loved it. Ten years ago Mr. Coffey started coming to Z bistro and came almost every day for breakfast and lunch. His favorite was peanut butter and butter sandwiches, peanut butter cookies, and anything with a ton of garlic on it, and we would joke about how many people would faint from the garlic fumes. We all loved him and his stories, laughter and yes even his cranky days. He brought alot of happiness to those around him. Thank you Mr. Coffey it was a pleasure to have you in my life.

I'm sadden to hear the passing of Mr. Coffey. I always enjoyed seeing Mr. Coffey and his beloved dog on my routine trips to the downtown area. What a joy the heavens are having with the whistling and the sound of the accordion playing. Bless you Mr. Coffey and your family, we'll miss you.

Coffey Family, So Sorry to hear about Mr. Coffey , he was a very nice person that would do anything for anyone . My mom and dad (Frank and Dollie Havener ) was good friends with Mr. Coffey , my dad would make sure Mr. Coffey had a ride to & from the state fair. He would come to our house for holiday Dinners , he was always very nice .
