Betty Rose Pishlar

Betty Rose Pishlar, 77, of Springfield, died at 12:25 am, Monday, August 8, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Home. She was born December 22, 1933 in Virden to Harry and Mary Gregorich Pishlar.
Her parents and two sisters, Theresa Basso and Amalia Mitchell preceded her in death.
Survivors include one niece Phyllis J. Mitchell of Tucson, AZ; two nephews William (Gail) Mitchell of Evanston, and T.J. Mitchell of Tucson, AZ and three cousins.
She was a member of Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception; Legion of Mary and a past member of CCCW at Cathedral.
Betty was a resident of Springfield and had previously lived in Virden. She retired from Franklin Life Insurance Company after 41 years.
Visitation: 9-10 am, Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.
Funeral Mass: 10 am, Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception with Reverend Stephen Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Virden Cemetery.
