Betty Lee Goff
Betty Lee (Anspaugh) Goff, 84, of Springfield, IL went to be with her Lord on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at her residence. She was born January 29, 1928 in Girard, IL the daughter of Homer Adam and Vera (Crutchley) Anspaugh. She married Lawnie Walter Goff on April 6, 1946 and he survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Carol Ann (James) Turner of Princeville and Doris Jean (Wallace) Reed of Springfield; seven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren; one brother, Robert (Dorothy) Anspaugh of Gillespie; one step brother, Marvin (Mary) Hayes of Atlanta, IL; two step sisters, Pauline Robinett of Arkansas and Glenna (Laudie) Smith of Springfield and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, Paul Eric Turner, one granddaughter, Christa Rose Reed and stepmothers, Mary (Crutchley) Anspaugh and Jennia May (Hays) Anspaugh.
Betty was a resident of Springfield most of her life. She owned and operated Betty Lee and Hees Refinishing Business for several years. She taught furniture refinishing at Lincoln Land Community College and afterwards became a CNA. Betty was an active member at Immanuel Lutheran Church where she was a member of the Ladies Aid.
Visitation: 4 – 6 Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Staab Funeral Home. A second visitation will be held from 10-11 am Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Immanuel Lutheran Church
Funeral Service: 11:00 am, Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Reverend Darrell Debowey officiating.
Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Chruch.

There are so many things that Betty did to help my Mom and Dad over the years. I have so many great memories and am sorry to hear of her passing.
