Bert E. Hudspeth, Sr.

Bert E. Hudspeth, Sr., 70 of Springfield, died peacefully at his home at 7 am, Tuesday, May 9, 2017. He was born August 27, 1946 in Springfield, to Harvey and Bertha Morrison Hudspeth, Sr.

He is survived by his companion of twenty years, Betty Monier; two daughters, Amanda of Auburn and Angela of Springfield; eight sons, Bert (Heather), Jr., Shane, Jerry (Angela), Rocky (Starr), Jesse, Joseph, Travis (Kimberly) and Randy Hudspeth all of Springfield; thirty-one grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; one sister, Judith Allen of Springfield; three brothers, Michael (Peggy) Hudspeth, Sr., Charles (Deborah) Hudspeth, Sr. and Thomas Hudspeth all of Springfield and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Beverly Hudspeth Skelton; one brother, Harvey Hudspeth and two sisters, Anna Martin and Sandy Hudspeth.

Visitation: 9:30-11:30 am, Monday, May 15, 2017 at Staab Funeral Home-Springfield.

Funeral Service: 11:30 am, Monday, May 15, 2017 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield with Pastor Bennie Fisher officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
