Bernice I. Clark
Bernice I. Clark, 80, of Springfield died at 12:20 pm Monday, July 30, 2012 at her home. She was born September 10, 1931 in rural Tallula, IL to Floyd and Edith Crouch Stiltz. She married Clyde S. Clark on July 31, 1955.
Surviving are her husband, Clyde; a daughter, Susan (Bruce) Egolf of Springfield; a son, Ron Clark of Chatham; four grandchildren, Erin and Scott Egolf, Alexis and Jacob Clark; and a sister, Delores Barber of Archer, FL.
Preceding her in death were her parents: three brothers, Richard, Eldon “Bud” and William Stiltz and a sister, Sharon Maddox.
Bernice was a member of Lakeside Christian Church. She was a resident of Springfield but grew up in Tallula. She worked at CIPS as a receptionist and was also a homemaker. She volunteered at Lewis Memorial Home. She was an avid Cardinals’ fan and enjoyed following her grandchildren’s sports teams.
Visitation: 4:00 – 7:00 pm Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Staab Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 9:00 am Friday, August 3, 2012 at Staab Funeral Home with Jon Morrissette officiating.
Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Lakeside Christian Church.

Clyde: Sorry to read about your wife's passing in the paper. I sent a E-mail message to Kay Ann[ Crouch] Kronsted a nurse friend of mine and a relative to Bernice. They did some E-mail correspondence. We enjoyed visiting with you and Bernice @ Richard and Sharon Clark's 50th anniversary. May God hold your hand as we pray for you and your family.
