Annetta Marie Poorman
Annetta Marie Poorman 61, of Springfield, went home to the arms of our Lord on April 13, 2009.
Annetta was a member of United Methodist Church and a supporter of WLUJ radio. She was a registered nurse for the last 25 years working at St. John’s, Memorial and Community Blood Center. In addition to being a loving mother, sister, and daughter, Annetta will be remembered for her sweet, honest and friendly nature.
Annetta was preceded in death by her father, Robert V. Stephens; sisters, Mary Elizabeth Bettinger and Pamela Sue Lee and infant daughter, Malinda Mae Poorman.
She is survived by her mother, Mildred M. Stephens of Mattoon, her sister, Kay Plotts of Decatur; sons Robert Bryan (wife Brenda) Poorman, Richard Bradley Poorman, William Robert (wife: Dora) Poorman, Jr. and Randy Bryce Knight all of Springfield, nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends at Staab Funeral Home from 1-2 pm, Wednesday, April 15, 2009. Funeral will be at 2 pm, Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at Staab Funeral Home. Reverend Jim Poole will be presiding. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.
