She married William (Bob) Robb in 1952 and he preceded her in death in 2008 after 56 years of marriage.
Ann is survived by her children; Donna (Mike) Holinga, Dave (Alicia) Claypool, Brenda Kelley, and Janet Robb. Also surviving are daughter-in-law, Deanna Claypool; grandchildren, Robert C. (Heather) Claypool III, Kathy (Jay) Walters, Erin Claypool, Christy (Travis) Kindel, Tami (John) Marchioro, Ben (Amy) Holinga, Adam (Megan) Claypool, Sarah (Adam) Friedland, Beth (Tim) Flynn, and Sarah (Duane) Zaricor; her sister, Mary Long; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ann was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Robert C. Claypool, Jr.; her son-in-law, Art Kelley, Jr.; and her sister, Prue Rogers.
Ann was a lifelong resident of Riverton and was always involved in community activities. She was a secretary at Riverton High School for twenty-two years, a member of the Riverton Chamber of Commerce, served on the Riverton Village Board for eight years, and volunteered for many years at the Riverton Food Pantry. To fulfill a lifelong dream, Ann was a driving force for the creation of a library in Riverton. She headed a grassroots effort to develop a volunteer library. After many years, much additional hard work by the volunteers and a successful referendum, the Riverton Village Library was established. Ann served on the library board from 1996 to 2009 and continued as a volunteer for the library until her death. She loved solving the daily crossword puzzle, was an avid reader, loved working in her yard among her beautiful flowers and made the best meatballs in the world, but the greatest love of her life was her family. To her family, Ann was magic. She spread love like pixie dust across four generations. Ann was more than a mom, grandmother and great-grandmother, she was a friend, an inspiration, a role model and a genuine blessing to all.
