Amanda Jo (Poole) Patterson, 34 of Springfield, died at 11:48 p.m., Friday, April 18, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born August 28, 1979 in Springfield to Denise Miller Poole.

Survivors include one son, Caleb James Patterson of Springfield; one daughter, Carly Marie Mickelson of Morris; her parents, Denise (Dennis Hammer) Box of Jacksonville and James W. Patterson of Springfield; two sisters, Nichole (Johnny) Hester of Jacksonville and Brandy (Kenny) Rubalcaba of Apache Junction, AZ; Grandparents, Donna K. (Paul) Lane of Springfield and Dorvin L. (Paulette) Miller of Decatur and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Joshua W. Patterson; grandparents Lottie A. Patterson and James W. Patterson, Sr.; one Uncle, Kevin J. Patterson and her Great grandparents

Amanda was Crew Chief at McDonald’s on Clearlake Avenue.

She loved taking her son to car shows and watching movies and enjoyed her job. She enjoyed reading, was an avid boxing fan and loved her dog, Sadie.

Visitation: 11 am – 1 pm, Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Staab Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: 1 pm, Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Staab Funeral Home with Pastor Josh Sabo officiating. Burial will follow at Zion Cemetery in Lincoln.
