3 memories from Al's Euclid Senior High School friends who knew Al at school 1974-1976: I met Al when his family moved into our apartment building in early 1974 and celebrated his 16th birthday with him and his parents. Al used to love telling the story about the day I introduced my conservative mother to him on the elevator as my new friend Al, and she did a double take when she looked up and saw his long hair. - Warren Kurtz This has not been a good year. I have fond memories of him. - Tim Rote (who lost his wife last month to cancer) In my mind, he is still 18 with shoulder length black semi curly hair and a friendly smile. - Laurie DeMattie Schmaus
