Frank J. Herman

Frank J. Herman, 86, of Springfield, died at 1:07 pm, Monday, June 2, 2014, at St. John’s Hospital. He was born February 13, 1928, in Ohio. He married Wilma Reynolds and she preceded him death on April 12, 1990.
Also preceding him in death are three sons, John, Randy and Roy Herman and one grandson Ricky Herman.

He is survived by two daughter, Debbie (Richard Roach) Herman and Amy (Tom Parkes) Herman both of Springfield; one son, Frank Herman of Springfield; eight grandchildren, Pam Pam, Donna, Dominic, Matthew, Mandy, Monica, Marla and Michelle Herman and one great granddaughter, Essance.
Frank retired from Oceans Memorial Cemetery in Joliet where he worked as a grave digger and had worked for Folger Adams as a mechanic. He enjoyed Western Movies and was a huge John Wayne fan.

Visitation: 5-6 pm, Monday, June 9, 2014 at Staab Funeral Home.
